Property Disposition
Familiarize yourself with the URA's disposition process.
The URA's disposition process is guided by both Redevelopment Laws and our overall commitment to creating jobs, expanding the City's tax base and enhancing Pittsburgh's neighborhoods. Buying property from the URA is much different than most property transactions. The link below is a guide to our typical disposition process.
If you are interested in purchasing a URA-owned property, the URA's online database of properties allows you to browse available property, create an online account, and submit an application. Applicants must be current on all taxes, water and sewer charges for any property they currently own. Once we receive a written request, URA staff will contact applicants and begin a due diligence process on the property.
