Job title: Quality Control Inspector

What you actually do: I work with the Housing Opportunity Fund to make sure projects are done within budget and done at a PLATINUM quality. I also do approvals for Housing Stabilization Program clients and have been working with our new Small Landlord Fund to approve bids and make sure PLATINUM quality work is done.

Years at URA: 9 months                                            

Best thing about working at the URA: A great work/life balance and being able to give back to the community daily

Favorite project/Most satisfying moment in career: When I am doing a final sign off and I get to see how happy the homeowner is with their home renovation

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in criminology from West Virginia University

Where you were before the URA: Mt. Lebanon and the City of Pittsburgh as a building inspector
