Regular Board Meeting Notice

The next hybrid Regular URA Board Meeting will occur on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM EST. 

 

Homeowner Assistance Program Guidelines Feedback

During the April 11, 2024 Regular URA Board Meeting, URA staff presented proposed amendments the Homeowner Assistance Program guidelines to clarify what documentation the URA will require and retain for each client, how each client may utilize the program funding to renovate their home, and how often a resident can re-apply for assistance through the program. Members of the public may submit their feedback until May 7, 2024 at 5:00 PM.

Neighborhood Initiatives Fund Program Guidelines Feedback

During the April 11, 2024 Regular URA Board Meeting, URA staff presented proposed amendments to the Neighborhood Initiatives Fund Program guidelines to:

  • Increase the tier 1 grant range from $20,000 - $30,000 to $20,000 - $50,000
  • Raise the grant ceiling from $100,000 to $150,000 
  • Remove the following as eligible uses of NIF funds: Conceptual design and engineering, land remediation, and historic preservation
  • Create a rolling application deadline
  • Open application to local businesses and property owners 

Members of the public may submit their feedback until June 7, 2024 at 5:00 PM.
